Toronto's rich entertainment life has got a new baby. Myth Restaurant is a new Greek-style restaurant located on King Street West, the old house of the nightclub Citizen. This place is amazing inside out. Spacious inside with very chic décor, artistic elements, lighting, and many other beautiful unique details. The patio is definitely worth mentioning. Very enjoyable atmosphere, with plants and cool lighting, completely covered. It will absolutely make you feel you've spent a night somewhere in Greece. The service was really good, despite the fact that the place is pretty busy and almost always completely booked.
Greek-inspired food is great for sharing so you can try as many items from the Myth menu as possible. The must starter I would say is Meze Dips, and of course, you need to have Saganaki so that you can take cool pictures. And it tastes great too. All the calamari options were good, and the grilled octopus was super delicious. You can't miss Horiatiki Salata, which will go great with main dishes like Lamb chops and Chicken Souvlaki. You can finish it off with traditional Pistachio Baklava. Drink-wise, all cocktails look really interesting. I enjoyed Daphne, whiskey-based, with quince jam and pear. Greek wine was good and we went for KIr-Yianni Naoussa Xinomavro. Overall, great restaurant, and looking forward to being back soon.
