Chotto Matte is an excellent restaurant downtown Toronto. It is a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian food. Restaurant is very nicely decorated, and has great pleasant vibe. Plants and wall art make this place even more special and unique. The washrooms are worth mentioning and very cool looking, something like space ship. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, only patio was open. Patio is covered and heated, and definitely a great choice to spend some time with friends. Service is great. The waiter was excellent and recommended us several shareables from the menu. Everything was super delicious. Smaller portions, tapas style. We had black cod, octopus, pork belly, sushi, miso marinated chicken and beef fillet. All very tasty. Deserts were very good too. It seems you can't go wrong with anything you pick in this restaurant. Very interesting cocktail list, with some interesting flavours. Definitely recommend trying some. In terms of pricing, probably you will spend between $100 and $150 per person, primarily depending on drink choices. For me it was worth it.
